WHAT COACHES NEED TO DO TO BE CLEARED TO COACH

  1. CLICK HERE to access the Got Sport Coach Registration Instructions. Use these instructions to access this account and upload your clearances.

  2. Go to https://system.gotsport.com/ to log into your Got Sport account. You will need to get a username in the form of 'blank@blank.com' and your password which will be 'LastName'. Get these from LMSC Registrar Henry Farr. Feel free to change your password if you would like.

  3. Follow the GotSport Registration Instructions mentioned above to upload your required documents and also update all of your account information including date of birth and contact information.

  4. You must upload the following three clearances to your account in their respective sections on your dashboard: (Instructions on how to obtain them are below, but you may have these clearances on file from your other coaching commitments)
    • FBI Fingerprint Background Check: Go to https://uenroll.identogo.com/
      • Under the section "Enter your Service Code to get started", input: 1KG738
      • You will need to sign up for an in-person fingerprinting session. The cost is around $20 and this clearance is valid for 5 years.

    • PA child abuse check: Go to https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS/Public/ClearanceLearnMore and work through the site, starting with the "Continue" button in the bottom right corner. This check is also around $20 and is valid for 5 years.

    • PA state background check: Go to https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp and click the grey "Submit a new record check" button in the middle. This online check costs $22 and is valid for 5 years. You might already have some or all of these clearances from previous coaching jobs and you may upload those documents if you already have them! If you have any questions and want to send me over some clearances you currently have to make sure they are valid, feel free to do so.

  5. Each coach will also have to complete a SafeSport abuse module and a concussion training module. These modules will take a little over an hour in total and are valid for a full year. As for the two training modules, when you are in your account, click "Dashboard" in your top toolbar, and then click "More Info" next to the SafeSport and Heads Up sections when you scroll down on that page. See the attached screenshots to recognize those sections. Click the blue "Start Course" button in the SafeSport section, and enter the access code you are given (Capture1). Next, click the orange "Launch Heads Up" button in the Concussion training section, and the course will pop up automatically (Capture2). You might have already completed these courses within the past year and you can just upload those PDF certificates in each respective section as well.

    Finally, click "More Info" next to the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Risk Management section, check off a few boxes and fill out an online signature to complete that portion and then your coaches account will be all complete.

  6. HEAD COACHES: If you are a head coach, Henry needs the names of your assistants for 2022-2023 so we can make sure they are compliant as well. E-Mail the names of your assistant coach(es) to Henry ASAP. If you add a coach during the course of the year, please send his/her name to Henry.

  7. HEAD COACHES AND ASSISTANT COACHES: Coaches will NOT get paid until they have completed all clearance requirements and their names are on team rosters.

  8. NOTIFY HENRY when you are 100% complete with all of this. Coaches will not be considered to be finished, and will not get paid, until they have notified Henry that they have completed all stages of Coach Registration and Risk Management.
