COACH OF THE YEAR AWARDS

FALL 2021 COY WINNERS ANNOUNCED

LMSC honors two travel team coaches and one intramural coach at the end of each season as Coach Of The Year winners. Our Award winners are recognized for outstanding contributions to the club as well as overall success in adhering to the club's philosophy of "providing each and every child with a fun filled experience in a soccer environment."

Our Fall, 2021 Girls Travel Team Coach Of The Year Award winner is Chris Black, head coach for the Under 9A LMSC Crush Navy team. Chris leads our U8 girls Crush Navy and Red travel teams with the help of Justine Davis. Chris is the head coach of the U8 A Crush Navy team. Crush Navy went 4 wins 1 loss and 3 ties, playing a year up in the Central League this past fall. Chris provides the perfect environment for player development. It is fun, challenging, well organized and focuses on the fundamentals. Chris has also been the head coach for the Under 11 boys Rangers team for four years. Congratulations to Coach Black for being named LMSC Girls Travel Team Coach of the Year.

Our Fall, 2021 Boys Travel Team Coach Of The Year Award winner is Henry Farr, head coach for the Under 8 LMSC Wolves Red team. Wolves Red went undefeated in the Central League, posting 5 wins, 0 losses and 3 ties during the fall season. Henry has a great soccer mind, is fantastic with teaching fundamental skills, and creates a fun and positive environment for his players. Henry was a star player with LMSC as a youth and it is great to see him come back to the club and coach the next generation of players. Henry also helps run our youngest intramural divisions (4 and 5 year olds) and is the assistant coach for the Harriton High School Boys Varsity. Congratulations to Coach Farr for being named LMSC Boys Travel Team Coach of the Year.

Our Fall, 2021 Intramural Coach Of The Year Award goes to Brendan Sammon, head of our Special Needs Program. Brendan took over the Special Needs Program several years ago and has provided a fun, entertaining and challenging environment for almost 40 players who would struggle to play in the other intramural divisions. The Special Needs Program hosts players with a wide range of physical, mental and social differences and enables all players to participate successfully. LMSC would also like to thank the Har Zion Men's Club of Narberth, especially Jordan Landau, who sponsored the Special Needs Program in 2021 and enabled all players to play at no cost and play on the very nice turf field of AIM Academy in Conshohocken. Congratulations and thank you to Brendan being this year's winner of the Intramural Coach Of The Year.
