Our Spring, 2024 Girls Travel Team Coach Of The Year Award winner is Grant Myers, head coach for our girls
Under 9 A Bling Navy and our Under 9 B Bling Red teams. This spring, Grant led Bling Navy to the EPYSA state
championship (top flight) and also led Bling Red to the EPYSA state championship, second flight.
Grant is a consummate professional. His consistency and "this is a marathon, not a sprint" approach to coaching at
this age are true differentiators. In addition to his technical coaching expertise, Grant is highly organized and diligent,
which really sets a great tone for the LMSC players (and families) at these young ages.
Grant has been with LMSC for close to two decades. Over the years, he has developed many players to play at the high
school level, the college level, and a few at the professional level.
Grant was named LMSC Boys Travel Team Coach Of The Year in 2022.
Congratulations to Grant for being named this year's LMSC Girls Travel Team Coach of the Year.

Our Spring, 2024 Boys Travel Team Coach Of The Year Award winner is Wayne McKinney,
head coach for the boys Under 11 Reds team as well as the girls Under 10 Crush White team.
During Wayne's four years with the 2013 boys, they accumulated a record of 114 wins, 41 losses and 9 ties.
This season, Wayne started the boys playing in the Central league in the fall, but after earning some wins by large margins,
he opted to have his team play in the more competitve EDP League where they finished in the top half of the table, recording
numerous victories over the 'A' teams from other clubs. Also, back in May, the Reds won the Whitpain Spring Classic tournament.
In 2020, the Reds went undefeated in Central League play in the spring and fall, playing in Covid masks. In their second season,
they went undefeated in the fall and lost only one Central League game in the spring.
In the team's third season, their passing game became a thing of beauty. Many of the boys have just moved up to the 'A' team for
the approaching fall season.
Congratulations to Wayne for being named LMSC Boys Travel Team Coach of the Year and thank you for your tremendous coaching
and leadership over the last four decades on the soccer fields. LMSC would like to wish you the best of luck in your well deserved
retirement. Enjoy life down at the shore and never forget the Gorillas vs. Stompers games.

Our Spring, 2024 Assistant Travel Team Coach Of The Year Award winner is Ben Cromer.
Ben played for LMSC for many, many years and played for the Lower
Merion High School varsity the past few years. Ben has been helping coach several teams this fall, working with veteran coaches Grant Myers
and Dan Stoudt. Ben will be heading off to Cornell University (Ithaca, New York) in the fall.
Ben is mature beyond his years and a great asset to LMSC's young players. His ability to lead and communicate for a young man his age
is remarkable. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and has a great future ahead of him, regardless of the path he chooses.
Congratulations to Ben for being named LMSC Assistant Travel Team Coach of the Year. Ben has made a huge difference in the lives
of the players who he has coached in recent years. Hopefully he will continue coach when he gets to college this fall.

in the Fall Intramural Program as well as the Spring Intramural Program and Winter Intramural Program.
starting many years ago in the club's youngest divisions. Rob has had a great following each year with a lot of boys who request to
have him as their head coach. As a youth, Rob played locally, including playing at Harriton High School. Rob has also coached at
Lower Merion High School and West Chester University.
Having fun, good sportsmanship and soccer development are coach Rob's core values. He attributes the teams' success to the amazing

assistant coach Stuart, as part of LMSC over the years.
