General Program Information

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • In 2019, divisions will be offered for children born between 2005 and 2015.

  • No prior playing experience is needed.

  • The 2019 season will start on Saturday, September 7 and run through November 10.

  • There will be 14 different divisions, based on age and gender.

  • Players may play up in an older division or play down in a younger division if the child's parents think it is in the child's best interest.

  • Overview Of The Different Divisions Offered in 2019.

  • We will again run a special SUNDAY BOYS PROGRAM for boys born between 2007 and 2013 who cannot play sports on Saturdays. This program is mainly for players who have religious conflicts on Saturdays.

  • Games and practices are held on fields inside of Lower Merion Township.

  • Participants do NOT have to live in Lower Merion Township.

  • We will have as many as 1300 players participate in the Fall Intramural Program. An additional 950 players ages 7-18 play in the very prestigious LMSC Travel Team Program.

  • The objective of all our programs is "to provide each and every child with a fun filled experience in a soccer environment."

  • Our number one goal is fun, our number two goal is to develop each player's skills so that he/she may progress to higher levels of play in the future. We try to keep the winning and losing aspect in check for all players, and we expect this philosophy to be followed by the players' parents as well as other spectators at games.

  • The 2019-2020 season will be our 52nd season.

  • LMSC also offers a SPRING Intramural Program which starts in early April and runs through mid-June. Spring games are mostly on Sunday afternoons.

  • LMSC is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation (US Soccer).

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR 2019
