If you are interested in working this fall in any of these positions, please fill an online application. Applications should be received no later than August 20. The intramural season will begin on Saturday, September 9th and run through mid-November. Games will be played every Saturday during that time period. There will be a limited number of Sunday games as well.

Referees do NOT have to be available each week. They will only be asked to work on days that their personal schedule permits them.

ALL Referees will be expected to dress in soccer attire and must provide their own whistle. The referee assignor will call referees each Thursday to find out which referees are available for that weekend. Rules and regulations will be forwarded to the referees. Referees will need to pass a written test at the Annual Referees Meeting before the start of the season.

• Must be at least 17 years of age or be at least 15 years of age with a minimum of four seasons of referee experience.
• Level 4 referees will be used for games in our 10-12 year old divisions. These are 9v9 games and use the offside rule.
• Level 4 referees are paid $21 a game.
• Games will be primarily played on Saturdays (with some Sunday games).
• Games will consist of two 25 minute halves.
• Games are at several different locations throughout the Township.

• Must be at least 15 years of age or be at least 13 years of age with a minimum of two years playing at the travel team level.
• Level 3 referees will be used for games in our 8-9 year old divisions. These are 6v6 games and do not use the offside rule.
• Level 3 referees are paid $19 a game.
• Games will be primarily played on Saturdays (with some Sunday games) and last one hour.
• Games will consist of two 25 minute halves.
• Games are at several different locations throughout the Township.

• Must be at least 13 years of age OR be at least 12 years of age with a minimum of two seasons of referee experience.
• Level 2 referees will be used for games in our 6-7 year old divisions. Games are either 4v4 or 5v5 and do not use the offside rule.
• Level 2 referees are paid $17 a game. Games will be primarily played on Saturdays (with some Sunday games).
• Games will consist of two 25 minute halves.
• Games are at several different locations throughout the Township.

• Must be at least 11 years of age with a minimum of two years of playing experience.
• No prior referee experience is necessary.
• Level 1 referees will be used for games in our 4-5 year old divisions.
• These games pay $14 per session (each session is approximately one hour long).
• Level 1 referees will also be expected to help the coaches teach the basic skills and tactics of the game to the players as well as help with the skills clinic held at the start of each session.
• All games for level 1 referees will be at Gladwyne Playground.
• There will be games on both Saturdays and Sundays.
