August 20, 2005 - The Cannibals defeated two state champions along the way to winning the Spirit Kickoff Classic Tournament in Downingtown. The Cannibals opened the tournament against Dix Hills, the New York state champions. The Cannibals won an exciting 3-1 game. Later in the tournament, the Cannibals defeated defending Pennsylvania state champion Yardley-Makefield by the score of 4-0. In the championship game, the Cannibals defeated PA Classics from Lancaster, PA by the score of 2-0.
