May 17, 2008 - Congratulations to the LMSC Rat Pack on taking second place in the Under 9 boys EPYSA State Cups. The Rat Pack won their three preliminary round games by the scores of 2-0 over Panthers USA Revolution, 9-0 over the Buckingham Vipers and 4-1 over the Southampton Stingrays.

In the semifinals, the Rat Pack defeated the Hulmeville Gladiators 8-1, setting up another match with arch-rival West Chester United for the state championship game. The Rat Pack had defeated West Chester in all three four previous meetings, but were unable to win this one and dropped a tough game to West Chester.

The Rat Pack had a great first season of play as they won the Spirit United Kickoff Classic in August, the Delco League's top division, the Yardley-Makefield Columbus Day Tournament, the EPYSA Indoor State Cups and the FC Delco Players Cup. Congratulations to coach Grant Myers and the Ratpack on a fantastic first season of play.
