May 25, 2009 - The U-16 Lower Merion Mustangs were runners up in their age bracket this past Memorial Day Weekend at the 34th Annual Virginian Soccer Tournament in Fairfax, Virginia.  This prestigious national event featured over 600 teams from Florida to Canada.  The Mustangs went 4-1 over the weekend, outscoring their opponents 13-4 before falling in the final by a score of 3-2.  The team is now ranked among the top 15 teams in the state.
