WILL NORD NAMED COACH OF THE YEAR IN
COLONIAL STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

November 10, 2009 - LMSC would like to congratulate Will Nord on being named Coach Of The Year in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, guiding Rosemont College's Men's Varsity to a great first season. This is the first year that Rosemont College has admitted men to their school and therefore this is the first year the school had a men's varsity soccer team. Will's team included 17 freshman and one junior transfer. Despite being such a young team, Nord led the team to a 6-9 record overall and a 3-6 record in league play.

Nord is a former player at Lower Merion Soccer Club, he was a member of the LMSC Gorillas, the first team in club history to win the Indoor State Championship and Outdoor State Championship in the same year (1990 in the U-13 Boys age group). Nord has been coaching at LMSC for the past nine years. He is the current head coach for the U-10A boys LMSC Denali who were state finalists in 2009.
