MUSTANGS (U-17 BOYS) WIN INDOOR STATE CUPS



January 2, 2010 - The LMSC Mustangs (U-17 boys) won the first state championship of the new decade, winning the Under 17 Indoor State Cups. The Mustangs went a perfect 5-0 in the competition, outscoring their opponents 25-4. In 2009, the Mustangs reached the semifinals of the indoor state cups. The team had their eyes focused on winning it all in 2010.

In preliminary action, the Mustangs defeated FC York 7-0, Warminster Wanderers 7-1, Deep Run 2-1 and Hulmeville Storm 5-0. This put them into the finals against FC Revolution from the Reading area. In a close game, the Mustangs prevailed 4-2 and earned the title of 2010 Indoor State Champions.

The Mustangs are coached by long time LMSC veteran Pete Gangl.

This is the 10th straight year that LMSC has had at least one state champion.
