May 30, 2010 - The U-9 girls LMSC STORM  Played in the FC DELCO PLAYERS CUP on Memorial Day weekend 2010. Saturday the Storm opened group play at 8:00am with a 3-1 victory over CASA from Central Pennsylvania. The second game of the day was an impressive 8-0 win over NETSA Brazil from New York East. The Storm returned to Downingtown on Sunday morning for another 8:00am game and beat Albertson Fury from New York 5-1. This win would seal first place in group A and set up a semifinal game later that afternoon with the Jackson Sharks from New Jersey.

The Storm scored a goal in each half and won the game easy 2-0. This would set up a final on Monday afternoon with NETSA Argentina from NYE. After a very hard fought game and many Storm chances. The Storm fell a little short in the result 2-1. It was a good weekend of soccer played by the Storm.
