October 10, 2010 - Turns out 10-10-10 was a good day for the U-12 Boys Shake N Bake who won their division at YMS Columbus Cup, after being finalists in the YMS Columbus Cup the past two years. Shake N Bake defeated Ukrainian Nationals Lightning in the championship game 2-1. 

Previously, Shake N Bake beat Neshaminy United Strikers 4-0 & tied Ukrainian Nationals Lightning 1-1 in Group Play. That earned them a spot in Semi-finals were they defeated YMS Atomic 5-2 to move to finals for a re-match against Ukrainian Nationals Lightning. The final game was very close. After scoreless first half both teams scored a goal early in the 2nd half. The game winner came with just over 3 minutes left when a ball was headed back intro the box after a corner and Ori Holtzman banged in for game winner.

Along the way, without our regular goalie, 4 different players helped out in goal and the whole team showed great effort and improvement throughout the weekend,  it was a true team effort.  Congratulations to the entire team on a great weekend!
