October 7, 2012 - The LMSC Girls U14 Aftershock played in the Parsippany Pride Columbus Weekend Tournament, held in Parsippany, NJ. On Saturday, their first game was against the Livingston Lassos. The Aftershock easily defeated them by a score of 5-1. Next up was a tougher squad, the hosting team, Parsippany Pride. This game ended in a 0-0 final score. On Sunday they face the Ridgewood Maroons & won with a 1-0 victory.

This advanced them to the championship game against the Morris United Speedsters. This turned out to be the toughest game yet. At the end of regulation time it was 0-0. After two 5 minute overtime sessions, there was still no score, which led to 2 shootout rounds. At the end of both shootouts, the Speedsters came out on top by a score of 4-3. The girls played amazing all weekend & it was truly a total team effort.
