April 21, 2013 - The girls U9 Lower Merion Fenix captured first place at the 24th Annual Monroe Soccer Club Spring Kickoff Classic. The Fenix played three strong New Jersey opponents. The Fenix were to prevail in all three matches, playing good technical soccer while scoring nice goals and playing strong defense. In the first match they defeated the Freehold SL Flash, and then followed up with wins against the East Brunswick SC Strikers and the Westfield SA Power.

The Fenix scored 12 goals on the day and did not allow any goals in their own net. Congratulations to the Fenix.
