MOTOR MOUTHS WIN U-10 BOYS
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP



May 17, 2014 - Congratulations to the LMSC Motor Mouths, our Under 10 A boys team, on winning the state championship. The Motor Mouths defeated PA Classics from Lancaster, 4-1 in the state championship game.

The Motor Mouths opened up state cup play with a 4-1 win over Council Rock and a 3-0 win over Lehigh Valley United. This put them into the quarterfinals where they faced a very tough Philadelphia Soccer Club team. That game was 2-2 at the end of regulation. Philly SC took the lead in overtime, but the Motor Mouths scored twice in the second overtime to advance to the state cup semifinals where they defeated Montgomery United 2-0 to advance to the championship game.

In the state championship game, PA Classics opened up the scoring 10 minutes into the game. The Motor Mouths came roaring back soon after as Torin McClave redirected a David Litvin cross into the goal to tie the game at 1-1. Soon after Nathan Bradway scored to give the Motor Mouths the lead. In the second half, Andrew Johnson head home a corner kick to give LMSC a 3-1 lead. Logan Jacobs finished off the game with the fourth and final LMSC goal.
