May 26, 2014 - A week after winning the state championship, the LMSC Ding continued their winning ways by capturing the top flight of the FC Delco Players Cup.

The boys opened up with a 4-3 victory over a very talented and tough SDFC (Soccer Domain FC) team from New Jersey. The Ding also defeated two well-known clubs, McLean Virginia, 11-0; and Met Oval from New York, 9-2. The boys then went on to win their semi-final game, 4-2, over a familiar opponent in Super Nova from Harrisburg. The Ding finished with an impressive 5-2 victory in the Final over a very skilled, and great club, World Class FC from New York.

The Ding finished their Under 9 season by winning the prestigious, high-level Players Cup Tournament. The following are some other achievements throughout the year:

• May 2014: EPYSA Outdoor State Cup Champions
• February 2014: US Futsal Regional Championship, Semi-Finalist (lost to the eventual champion)
• February 2014: EPYSA Indoor State Cup Champions
• November 2013: Delco League (Division 1), First Place
• September 2013: Ross Haney Labor Day Tournament Champions
