LMSC WILDCATS (U-15A GIRLS)
TAKE SECOND AT HEMPFIELD TOURNAMENT

November 23, 2014 - The LMSC Under 15A girls Wildcats earned second place at the Hempfield Fall Classic this past weekend. The team's first two games both ended in a 2-2 tie. The first game was an incredible display of soccer, both teams were evenly matched, scoring one after the other. Our second game, we dominated the first half of play, scoring our two goals within the first six minutes. The Wildcats played well but fell apart during the last ten minutes of play, allowing the other team to score two quick goals.

After a team bonding dinner and some good rest, the girls came back knowing what they had to accomplish in order to make the finals. Determined, the entire team banded together, motivated each other and earned a 2-1 win, pushing them into the finals. The team worked hard and earned their second place win together as a team. Every player had stand out moments and pushed themselves to play some of the best soccer that they have. Behind captains Carmen Schuldt and Carly Koutcher and team leader Kaitlin Vagnoni - every girl played an important role in the team making it to the finals and should all be proud of their accomplishment. Go Wildcats!
