January 17, 2016 - Members of the LMSC Elem-Messi (Under 8A Boys) team traveled to Disney, Florida to compete in the Disney, Florida 3v3 Championships over Martin Luther King Weekend.

The 2008 Red Team went a perfect 8-0 and won the 3v3 tournament championship. Members of the Red Team include Connor Murphy, Colin Priestley, Gunnar Graham, Thomas Lawler and Pedro Guimaraes. The Red team won their three bracket games on Saturday, defeating Sorrento Crush (Florida) 9-1, SCFC Arsenal (Florida) 11-0 and the Hurricanes (Marlyand) 4-1. The wins put the team into to top flight for Sunday's play. Red continued their winning ways, defeating Danubia Gators (Pennsylvania) 4-3 and Central Florida Fire 7-3. The two wins clinched Red a spot in Monday's semifinals. Their semifinal game was a rematch against the Hurricanes from Maryland. The LMSC Boys again came out on top, winning 3-1 to put them into the tournament championship game against CES Juventus-Nedved (Florida). This would prove to be the toughest game for the LMSC boys. The game was tied 5-5 at the end of regulation, but LMSC scored the winner in overtime to win the tournament championship.

The LMSC Blue team also had a great tournament, finishing in 3rd place in the 12 team tournament. Members of the Blue Team include Marvin Reed, Will Short, Drew Yusko, Chris Yanney and Jumpin' Jack Flash Levensten. The Blue team opened up the tournament with three wins on Saturday, defeating the X-Men from Florida 6-0, Hobbs Hawks (New Mexico) 12-0 and the Maryland Outlaws 12-4. The three wins for Blue earned them a spot in the top bracket for Sunday's action. Blue opened up with a 2-1 win over CES Juventus-Nedved and followed that with a 6-2 win over the Hurricanes from Maryland. The two wins put the Blue team into the semifinals. Blue lost a tough 2-1 overtime loss to CES Juventus but rebounded with a 6-2 win over the Hurricanes in the consolation game to claim 3rd place.
