May 30, 2016 - The U-12 LMSC Red Devils are tournament champions of FC Delco Players Cup - Elite 8v8 division. The team had a strong showing scoring 21 goals while allowing only 3 goals in 5 matches. The team won the final 5-0 over FC West Chester (NYE.)

The tournament included a rematch of the NCS State Cup semifinal against FC Europa - this time Red Devils won the match 8-0. Kudos to Bram Schwadron, Steven Fajardo, Sam Kohl, and Michael O'Gara (GK) for defending so well, and getting the ball forward in with mixed delivery. A special shout out to Jinho Park and Zion Georges - Jinho for playing multiple positions on the field giving steady performances in all his roles; Zion for playing most the weekend away from his usual striker position. Zion still managed 5 goals despite his extra defensive responsibilities. Grisha Fast, Juan Murcia, and Eddie Jones, each got a goal and gave tireless work in their midfield roles.

A special thank you to Sam Nyenka and Elias Betancourt for guesting from LMSC Swarm. Sam scored 11 goals during the tournament, and Elias had many final passes and scored a free kick goal in the championship. The team should be proud of their effort during a very hot and long soccer weekend. Well earned!!
