November 13, 2016 - The LMSC Cosmos finished second in the regular season for Division 2 of the Delco League this fall, giving them a spot in the league semi-finals. The Cosmos advanced to the championship game by winning their semi-final game on penalty kicks. In the championship game, the Cosmos played the only team to beat them in the Delco League this past fall. The boys scored midway through the first half, but gave up a goal on a penalty kick early in the second half. Both teams had chances in the remainder of regulation, but neither team scored.

The teams then played two ten minute halves in overtime, but neither team could get one past the strong goaltending play of both goalies. Under league rules, both teams were declared co-champions.
