May 21, 2017 - Congratulations to the LMSC Storm, our Under 17 girls, on winning their second straight state championship. This is the fourth year in a row that the Storm have reached the state championship game. With the win, the Storm advance to the Regional Championships which will be held in Virginia in late June.

The Storm played a very tough PA Classics team (Lancaster, PA). Classics had a 1-0 lead by the Storm stepped up their game in the second half. Gaby Mazzoni scored a fantastic goal, heading home a corner kick to tie the game. The Storm later got another to clinch the win and keep their title of State Champions.

Congratulations to coaches Pete Gangl and Dan Mouw, along with all of the Storm players on a great state cup run.
