The emphasis of our Middle Age Divisions is on enjoyment of the game, skill development and the introduction of
being a part of a "team."
Each player is assigned to a team for the season. Each team will have their own head coach.
For the first Sunday, each team will have a 75 minute practice.
For the remaining weekends, teams will meet for 90 minutes. The first 30 minutes will be devoted to working on soccer skills.
This will be followed by a 50 minute soccer game where each team will play against one of the other teams in their division.
Each player will be expected to bring a soccer ball (size 3 for Bantams, Microns and Juniors, size 4 for Intermediates and Protons) each week.
During the 30 minute practice period, the coach will lead the players through various skill development activities.
GAME TIMES: All games will be on Sundays. The earliest start will be noon. The latest start will be 6:00.
Game times for all teams will be different each week.
Each team might have one or more Saturday afternoon games.
There are no weeknight practices in the Spring Intramural Program.
Heading a ball and slide tackles are illegal in these age groups.
Some divisions will close out early due to the limited number of parents who volunteer as head coaches.
