LMSC will again run a wide range of indoor training programs during the winter months. Some training programs are geared towards travel team players, some towards intramural players and some towards young players with an eye towards playing in the Travel Team Program when they are old enough. Our staff coaches have very strong backgrounds in soccer. None of the training programs are coached by parents of the players involved.

Training programs for our 2006-2014 birth players will run on Saturdays, for a total of 12 weeks, at Suburban Sports in Conshohocken.

Why Suburban Sports? Because Suburban Sports ...

• has a nice indoor synthetic turf training surface.
• has a nice parking lot with plenty of parking. Customers do not need to use meter parking on the streets.
• has plenty of spectator area surrounding the playing area.
• is well heated to keep players and spectators warm. Players may play in shorts and tee shirts. Winter jackets are not needed inside Suburban Sports.

The 2019-2020 winter training programs will run on SATURDAYS. Each session will last 60 minutes.

Each program will run for 12 weeks. Training will take place on January 4, 11, 18, 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, March 7, 14 and 21 (with March 28 as a makeup date).

Each session will include 30 minutes of skills training, under the direction of an LMSC staff coach. The remainder of the time will be for small sided games.

Players need to bring:

• soccer ball
• shin guards
• water bottle
• soccer cleats or sneakers

The cost for each training program is $210 payable to Lower Merion Soccer Club (or LMSC). Please fill out a registration form, print it out and mail it in along with your registration fee. Since these programs are run indoors, each program will only be able to accept a limited number of registrations. Once a division is full, players will be put on a waiting list.

We do not offer refunds for any of our training programs after December 20.
